There’s no denying it. That first mile when you're struggling to match your breathing with your gait. The comfort of being indoors, knowing you have a training run planned. And let’s not even talk about interval day—the ultimate test of your willpower.
Or that moment on a long run when you’re at your wit's end, you glance at your watch, and there it is: 4.7 miles still to go.
So why do we lace up again and again? Because we love running more than we hate it.
It’s the moments that follow that keep us coming back. That feeling of floating, being in the zone, where your legs seem to carry you effortlessly. When you glance at your watch, realize it’s only 4.7 miles, and think, “I could easily do another lap.”
And let’s not forget the reward at the summit—grabbing a snack, sipping a drink (I really should have cleaned that soft flask better) , taking in the view, and knowing it’s all downhill from here.
This push and pull—the love-hate relationship we have with running—is what inspired us to create our "Running Sucks" products. They are a celebration of that balance, a badge of honor for everyone who has ever cursed the run but finished it anyway.
We’re not here for financial gain. This is about sharing the love (and keeping this website up and running).
So check out our Etsy shop, grab some gear, and join the movement. Become a proud evangelist of the glorious struggle that is running.
